“A Boo-tiful Halloween Quilt” is a layer-cake friendly pattern. If you’re not familiar with the
term “layer cake," a layer cake is made up of a total of forty-two (42) pre-cut 10.0” x 10.0” fabric
squares. Since we are not always able to use the entire layer cake when constructing a quilt, there are
often leftover squares. I had leftover Halloween fabrics, and this design was a perfect way to
incorporate those extra squares, along with six (6) adorable “ghost applique images” into a fun and
“Boo-tiful Quilt”! Of course, if you don’t have leftover layer cake squares, you can cut 10.0” x 10.0”
squares from your fabric stash.
